The first Geo bow-wielding character added to Genshin Impact is Gorou, the general of the Watatsumi Army. This rebel group formed as a resistance to the Vision Hunt Decree and is led by both Gorou and the leader, Sangonomiya Kokomi.
Gorou is a powerful support character for Geo teams, but before you can use him, you'll want to upgrade his talents and level him up. Let's take a look at all the materials you'll need to fully upgrade Gorou's talents and Ascend him to the maximum level.

Additionally, it'll take any Genshin character, including Gorou, 8,362,650 EXP to hit level 90. You can achieve this amount of EXP in several ways, but one combination of EXP materials that will get you there looks like this:

To fully upgrade all three of Gorou's talents, you'll need three times the number of materials listed above.
Where To Find Gorou's Ascension And Talent Materials
Prithiva Topaz
Like every other Geo character, you'll need Prithiva Topaz to ascend Gorou. These can be obtained from bosses around Teyvat and from daily commissions. The following bosses drop varying amounts of Prithiva Topaz materials, depending on your World Level.

- Weekly Bosses
While there are several different options for farming Prithiva Topaz materials, the best is the Perpetual Mechanical Array. This boss will also drop Perpetual Hearts needed to ascend Gorou.
Sango Pearl
Sango Pearls are an Inazuma specialty, and can be found all over Watatsumi Island. They are usually found cradled in small pink coral, and respawn 48 hours after being gathered. Make a few laps around Watatsumi Island every few days to gather enough Sango Pearls for Gorou.
Spectral Husk, Heart, and Nucleus
These materials can be obtained by defeating Specter-type enemies around Inazuma. They are found in abundance on Watatsumi Island and Seirai Island, so search in these locations if you need more Spectral materials.
Perpetual Heart
The Perpetual Mechanical Array is a normal boss in Inazuma, that can be found by going into the portal on Jinren Island. This boss has no elemental resistances or weaknesses, making this a straightforward fight with a balanced team. Obtaining rewards from the Perpetual Mechanical Array will cost 40 Original Resin.
Teachings, Guides, and Philosophies of Light
You can find the Teachings of Light, Guide to Light, and Philosophies of Light talent books at the Violet Court domain on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Check back on these days to gather up enough talent books to upgrade Gorou.
Molten Moment
Molten Moments are obtained by defeating La Signora in her weekly boss fight in Inazuma. You'll need to complete the Omnipresence Over Mortals Archon Quest before you can access this fight, and La Signora can only be challenged once a week, making Molten Moments one of the hardest items to get for Gorou. Be sure to fight La Signora every week to get enough Molten Moments, or combine other La Signora boss materials with Dream Solvent to get them instead.
Crown of Insight
Finally, each talent requires a Crown of Insight to reach level 10. They're very rare and can typically be obtained during major, time-limited events. You can also grab a few by making offerings to the Frostbearing Tree, Sacred Sakura, and Lumenstone Adjuvant.
