Inazuma native Yoimiya is as dynamic as her position as owner of the Naganohara Fireworks company in Genshin Impact. She’s a Pyro-user who prefers to use a bow and arrow in battle, similar to Amber (though maybe a bit more fun).

Most of her shortcomings are resolved either through weapons and artifacts, or through placing her within the right team compilation. Her main source of damage in battle doesn’t offer an AoE, and she fights best in one-on-one fights over group battles. Though these aren’t deal-breakers, obviously they do mean you’ll want to beef up her Attack and overall damage.

10/10 The Slingshot – Three Star

Obtained through Wishes, the Slingshot will boost Yoimiya’s Base Attack between 38 and 354, depending on her level. It has a secondary stat of Crit Rate, which will give her an added 6.8 to 31.2 percent bonus on critical hits connecting.

If one of her Normal or Charged Attacks hit an enemy within 0.3 seconds of launching, damage increases by 36 percent. If it doesn’t hit in that timeframe, then her damage will decrease by 10 percent. Since this is a starter weapon, that isn’t a major setback. It can also help train you to be more accurate!

9/10 The Blackcliff Warbow – Four Star

To get the Blackcliff Warbow, you’ll need to go to Paimon’s Bargains. The weapon itself will improve Base Attack by 44 to 565, depending on Yoimiya’s level, and its substat of Crit damage will increase eight to 36.8 percent.

Once you’ve fought and defeated an enemy, her Attack will increase another 12 percent for 30 seconds. This can be stacked a maximum of three times, but each stack is independent of the others, so you can stack the next as the last falls off.

8/10 The Rust – Four Star

Obtained through Wishes, the Rust will boost her Base Attack between 42 and 510. It offers a substat of Attack, as well, which will give Yoimiya another nine to 41.3 percent.

Another tricky weapon, it has positives and negatives. It will increase Normal Attack damage by 40 percent, but it’ll also decrease Charged Attack damage by 10 percent. If you know her teammates have the better Charged Attack, however, you’ll easily be able to use Yoimiya strictly for her Normal Attack with the Rust.

7/10 The Hamayumi – Four Star

The Hamayumi is forged at the blacksmith’s shop, making it fairly easy to obtain. Base Attack is improved between 41 and 454, based on Yoimiya’s level, and the secondary stat will boost Attack another 12 to 55.1 percent.

Her Normal Attack will get a 16 percent increase, and her Charged Attack will get a 12 percent damage increase with this bow. When her Energy is at 100 percent, these boosts will be 100 percent effective, so keep a healer on your team with this Yoimiya-bow coupling.

6/10 The Prototype Crescent – Four Star

Another bow you’ll forge yourself at the blacksmith’s shop, the Prototype Crescent increases Base Attack by a range of 42 to 510, depending on Yoimiya’s level in the game. The secondary stat is focused on Attack, giving it a nine to 41.3 percent boost.

Charged Attack hits with the Prototype Crescent will increase Movement Speed by 10 percent when you connect with an enemy’s weak point, and it will also give you 36 percent more Attack for 10 seconds.

5/10 The Viridescent Hunt – Four Star

When you get to Adventure Rank 20, you’ll unlock Battle Pass where you’ll find the Gnostic Hymn rewards that you can earn. The Viridescent Hunt is one of the weapons you’ll gain access to through the Battle Pass. It will boost Yoimiya’s Base Attack between 42 and 510, as well as increase her Crit Rate six to 27.6 percent with its substat.

Any Normal or Aimed Shot Attacks will have a 50 percent chance of creating a Cyclone effect, which will attract any nearby opponents. Once they’ve been targeted, it will dole out 40 percent of Attack as damage to them every half-second for four seconds.

4/10 The Polar Star – Five Star

Available through Weapon Event Wishes, the Polar Star increases Base Attack between 46 and 608, depending on Yoimiya’s level in the game. Her Crit Rate will also get a boost between 7.2 and 33.1 percent through this bow’s substat.

Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst will get a 12 percent increase to damage dealt, as well. After using either Elemental, or a Normal or Charged Attack on a target, she’ll gain one stack of Ashen Night Star for 12 seconds. Each stack is independent of the others, so they can be gained as they wear off.

3/10 The Thundering Pulse – Five Star

You’ll get the Thundering Pulse through Weapon Event Wishes. Yoimiya’s Base Attack will get a boost of 46 to 608, based on her level, and her Crit damage increases by 14.4 to 66.2 percent through its substat.

Attack will increase by 20 percent, and it’ll give her the Might of the Thunder Emblem, which boosts Normal Attack damage based on stack levels. Each stack of the Thunder Emblem has a duration independent of the rest, so you can gain them as you lose them.

2/10 The Skyward Harp – Five Star

Obtained through Wishes, the Skyward Harp will boost Base Attack by a range of 48 to 674. It also has a secondary stat of Crit Rate, which gives another 4.8 to 22.1 percent to critical hits.

Another perk of the Skyward Harp is the 20 percent boost to Crit damage on top of the Crit Rate substat. All hits will then have a 60 percent chance to damage within a small AoE, and this will dole out 125 percent physical attack damage every four seconds.

1/10 The Amos’ Bow – Five Star

You’ll pick Amos’ Bow up through Wishes. Equipping Yoimiya with it will increase her Base Attack by a range of 46 to 608, and the substat of Attack will boost her another 10.8 to 49.6 percent, both depending on her level.

Damage from Normal and Charged Attacks will increase by 12 percent with Amos’ Bow. After she’s used her Normal or Charged Attack, the damage will go up another eight percent ever 0.1 second the arrow is in the air. This will happen up to five times.
