There are quite a few quests sprinkled through the region of Liyue in Genshin Impact. One of the most rewarding out of them is called Treasure Lost, Treasure Found. Like most quests in Liyue, this can be done early in the game for those brave enough to walk all the way to its starting point.
This particular quest is also divided into two parts, leading many to prematurely stop pursuing the quest without receiving all the rewards it has to offer. The guide below is here to help you quickly complete the quest without having to spend tons of time looking for the various quest locations.
Starting Treasure Lost Treasure Found
To begin the quest head to the Guili Plains and locate a young woman named Soraya. She is located on the road near the ruins in the area.
She will ask you to find five stone tablets in the area and write down what they say.

There is very little combat that you'll need to participate in, but many of the tablets are located around enemies, often hilichurls. The locations of the tablets are shown in the picture below.
Once you have interacted with all five tablets go back to Soraya. She will thank you and then move to Wangshu Inn for the second half of the quest. This is the part that can get confusing, as you only get half of the quest reward at this point but Soraya moves. Your rewards for finding the tablets are:
- 200 Adventurer Experience
- 30 Primogems
- Four-Star Exile Circlet
You will not get the full reward amount or the shrine of the depths key until the second part of the quest is completed.
How To Find The Jade Plates In Guili Plains
To start the second half of the quest go to the Wangshu Inn and talk to Soraya again. She will send you back to the Guili Plains, but this time the search area is much broader. The first jade plate's location will be marked on your map, but the other three you need to find on your own.
The map above shows all four jade plates you need to find along with the area you need to go after activating them. Make sure to click on the center of each jade plate and once you've activated all four move to the pool of water we marked above that is situated in the middle.
Once there approach the final jade plate to revive three ruin guards. Fighting them is a bit tricky, so remember to use a bow character and aim for their eyes to stun them. This makes it much easier to manage all three and keep your distance from any spin attacks. You can also freeze them, or simply kill them quickly, depending on your party setup.
Once they are defeated the ruin will open and several chests can be found inside. After you have finished grabbing the loot, return to Soraya at the inn to complete the quest and receive:
- 400 Adventure Experience
- 50 Primogems
- Liyue Shrine of Depth Key
While the journey is long, the rewards are huge.
