Kazuha marks a huge step for Genshin Impact as he is the first character from Inazuma that is playable. In fact, he even helps to officially introduce the game's second story chapter. Kazuha is a 5-star Anemo sword-user and can provide a lot of support with his ultimate. He's the perfect pick for racking up swirl damage on the field and helping to control the battle flow.
Before you can unlock the full potential of Kaedehara Kazuha in battle, you will need to fully Ascend him and upgrade his Talents. Let's take a look at every material you'll need to fully upgrade Kazuha, and where to find them.

Where To Find Kazuha's Ascension And Talent Materials
Vayuda Turquoise
Vayuda Turquoise Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, and Gemstones can be obtained by defeating bosses throughout Teyvat. The following bosses have a chance to drop Vayuda Turquoise materials.
- Normal Bosses
- Anemo Hypostasis
- Maguu Kenki
- Weekly Bosses
- Stormterror
Farming Maguu Kenki for Kazuha's Ascension materials is the better choice due to the fact that this boss will drop both Vayuda Turquoise materials and the Marionette Core. If you have all the Marionette Cores you need, Anemo Hypostasis is the better option for quickly gathering Vayuda Turquoise.
Sea Ganoderma
Sea Ganoderma is an Inazuma specialty plant that can be found around island beaches. The best place to look for Sea Ganoderma is on the northern shore of Kannazuka Island, near the Kujou Encampment. Several can also be found near Konda Village, as well as outlying islands around Narukami Island.
Additionally, you can grow these plants in your Serenitea Pot, which will take around three days to fully grow.
Treasure Hoarder, Silver Raven, and Golden Raven Insignias
Insignias drop from Treasure Hoarders, which can be found all around Liyue, especially near ruins like the ones in Guili Planes. They usually appear in groups so harvesting Insignias is easy.
Marionette Core
As mentioned above, Marionette Cores can be obtained from the Maguu Kenki boss in Inazuma. This difficult boss will use powerful Cryo and Anemo abilities, so bring your strongest team. To obtain rewards from Maguu Kenki after defeating it, you'll need to spend 40 Original Resin.
Teachings, Guides, and Philosophies of Diligence
Diligence talent books can be obtained from the Taishen Mansion Domain on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, with higher tiers of the item dropping at higher world levels. Additionally, you can obtain Philosophies of Diligence by combining lower rarities of the item at an Alchemy Station.
Gilded Scale
Gilded Scales are a reward from the weekly Domain Beneath the Dragon-Queller. This boss is only accessible after completing Zhongli's second story quest in Liyue. Defeat Azhdaha each week for a chance to get a Gilded Scale, or combine his other materials into Gilded Scales with Dream Solvent.
Crown of Insight
Finally, to upgrade Kazuha's talents to level 10, you'll need a total of three Crowns of Insight. This rare talent material can only be obtained from time-limited events, or by completing offerings to the Frostbearing Tree, Sacred Sakura, and Lumenstone Adjuvant.
