We'll be looking at ten Titan builds in this guide—five for PvE, five for PvP. Each build takes Destiny 2's buildcrafting to the extreme, synergizing Combat Style mods with certain subclasses to create some truly powerful builds. Cast Supers frequently, throw infinite grenades in PvP, and become invulnerable in PvE with some of these builds.

Foreword

Before we dive into the world of buildcrafting, you'll need to understand how Combat Style mods work. We'll be mentioning these mods quite a bit in the guide, and for the sake of brevity and readability, we won't be explaining what each mod does. If you don't know how these mods or mechanics work, these guides should help:

Updated October 6th, 2022, by Charles Burgar: Striker has quickly become a powerhouse in both PvE and PvP. Arc 3.0 has given Titans incredible grenades, melee abilities, and the Thruster class ability. We've updated this guide to include two Arc builds, one for PvE and PvP. We've also updated some of our Solar 3.0 builds to reflect the Loreley Splendor nerf that occurred this season, and we replaced a Solar PvE build with a Consecration build that'll destroy most enemies in endgame content.

PvP: Shaxx's Disciple

Why Play This Build?

Titan mains that don't want to rely on gimmicks in PvP can't go wrong with this build. This is a simple PvP build that uses the Striker subclass, Charged with Light mods, and good neutral game Exotics to give you powerful abilities and great weapon feedback. If you're new to PvP or want a solid jack of all trades, this is the build for you.

PvP: Consecrating Flame

Why Play This Build?

The strengths of Solar 3.0 lend themselves nicely to the Crucible. Sunbreaker Titans can take full advantage of Radiant and Restoration effects to become virtually unkillable with intelligent use of cover. Paired with their great Aspects, you can drastically improve your neutral game and have some devastating abilities to counter Supers and CQC players.

Loreley Splendor is perfect for the Crucible, giving you x2 Restoration for a few seconds when you reach critical health or cast your Barricade. This build focuses on reducing that Barricade cooldown as much as possible while taking full advantage of the Consecration Aspect.

PvP: Code Of Kintsugi

Why Play This Build?

Support Titan builds typically revolve around placing the Ward of Dawn Super. These builds are typically focused around PvE, but not this one. Thanks to the Precious Scars Exotic, you can play as a major support to your team by providing a massive overshield by reviving your allies.

To further amplify the support aspect, this build uses the Sentinel subclass to give yourself and allies overshields. You'll be able to stay in the fight longer with overshields and Precious Scar's perk, turn 2v3 scenarios around with a single revive, and lockdown areas with Ward of Dawn. It's a great build for all Crucible modes and is S-tier for Rift.

PvP: Ravenous Firewalker

Why Play This Build?

Titans don't have to use either Dunemarchers or One-Eyed Mask to have great neutral benefits anymore. Thanks to Season of the Splicer's Path of Burning Steps Exotic, Titans can counter Stasis while empowering their weapons with a massive damage buff.

Since these boots work with any subclass, you can use any subclass that suits your playstyle. Bottom Tree Striker is a good pick, especially after the mid-season Stasis nerfs. Equip your favorite Solar weapon, rock a few Charged with Light mods, and prepare to annihilate any enemy that stands before you.

PvP: Glacial Fortress

Why Play This Build?

Behemoth's identity has shifted from an unstoppable force to more of an immovable object. This spec is much more focused on playing defensive now, using the power of Stasis crystals to shut down aggressive players.

This build takes the defensive nature of the Behemoth to the extreme, utilizing Witch Queen's Hoarfrost-Z Exotic, Whisper of Rime, and Whisper of Chains Fragments to give yourself an immense amount of health. Enemies will have difficulty piercing your overshield, Stasis crystals, and your Titan Barricades. If you're a more defensive player that needs a good build for competitive and Trials, this is it.

PvE: Volatile Light

Why Play This Build?

Become a walking whirlwind of explosions with this Sentinel build. Using the power of Heart of Inmost Light and Combat Style mods, you can create a Titan that has short ability cooldowns, inflicts volatile from everything they do, has multiple ways to instantly heal, all while working with every weapon loadout you can think of. It isn't a meta build for GM Nightfalls or Master raids, but if you're looking for a fun Titan build to farm Lost Sectors or Master Wellspring with, this is a great build to try.

PvE: Shattered Lance

Why Play This Build?

Tweaks to Stasis Aspects and Fragments in the 30th Anniversary Pack have made the Behemoth a joy to play in PvE. Diamond Lance is viable, Whisper of Chains is great for endgame PvE content, and chaining your abilities together has never felt so fluid.

This build turns the Behemoth into the crystal-slinging juggernaut that it was destined to be. Enjoy short ability cooldowns, constant overshields, damage resistance, and incredible crowd control with this ultimate PvE Behemoth build.

PvE: Unbreakable Splendor

Why Play This Build?

Loreley Splendor and 100 Resilience allow you to become a proper tank in Destiny 2, capable of absorbing dozens of projectiles a second without so much as breaking your shields. This is thanks to Loreley Splendor's x2 Restoration buff and the passive damage resistance you can obtain from Resilience.

This build focuses on making your Titan invincible while enhancing the power of your abilities. With the Roaring Flames buff, your abilities will hit much harder and enable your punches you spawn Elemental Wells. Spam Consecration to your heart's content, throw constant grenades, all while having virtually infinite HP. No Artifact mods are needed either.

PvE: Heart Of Thunder

Why Play This Build?

No other build in Destiny 2 can throw so many grenades and have access to this degree of agility. This Striker Titan build uses the Heart of Inmost Light Exotic and various Combat Style mods to throw a neverending supply of grenades, topped with excellent movement through Seismic Strike and Thruster. Create lightning storms that deal as much damage as most Supers, dash around the battlefield at blinding speed, and take advantage of everything armor mods have to offer.
